Silicone Dish Scrubbers Set and Holder Review

Disclosure: I received the set of two silicone dish scrubbers for a discount for my unbiased review. The opinions expressed are my own.

I love making it easier to clean dishes in our home!  We have numerous scrubbing items for different cookware in our kitchen. When the opportunity came around for me to try the silicone scrubbers, I jumped on it.  We tend to buy cookware that require non-scratchy scrubbing.  The silicone dish scrubbers came with one green and one blue scrubber along with a  hanging holder which had drain holes on it.  They are easy to use and to rinse!  The little nubbies on them help in scrubbing whatever you have on you dishes! The dish scrubbers are very flexible and bend!  I tried them on one of our non-stick pans last week, and it didn't scratch it at all. I've been using them washing and scrubbing everyday dishes, glasses, and our bird's water and food bowls. I've had no difficulty with getting dried-on food to come off of any of the items that I washed with the scrubbers.  I was quite pleased with them! I have thrown them in the dishwasher in a basket to protect them on the top shelf for cleaning after a greasy pan or plate, they did okay. (Not sure if it's recommended to do so, but I did.)
The silicone dish scrubbers can also be used for mug coasters and for hot pan holders, and I haven't tried them in that capacity yet.

WLWQ 18 in 1 Stainless Steel Hygiene Manicure Pedicure Grooming Kit Review

Disclosure: I received this product for a reduced price for my unbiased review. The opinions expressed are my own.

Out front... I really like this kit! It comes in a compact shiny black leather case, with just about everything you could need to take care of your face, fingernails, and toenails/feet. (No, it doesn't come with a razor to shave armpits or legs with!!) Two kinds of fingernail clippers come with this set, one for regular nail clipping and the other for trimming the nails corner. (I never knew that they had such a thing out!) This is the kind of kit that I can take on a vacation or mini-trip or even use at the house everyday. The kit stays closed and doesn't come open unless you push the clasp . The tools stay in place and don't move around in the case. What I love about the case is its size, I can hold it in my hand. It's 6.3 X 3.5 X 0.9 inches, and 16 X 9X 2.5 cm.
Forgive me for clipping and pasting my own post from Instagram, but I really like what I posted there about the kit!
"This manicure pedicure kit is an 18 in 1 stainless steel set with a black leather case. I was amazed on what it contained! This kit can be used at home and when you are traveling. The case is so classy. There are several parts to the kit: facial, nails, and feet! The list would be very lengthy if I included everything in this post! Blackhead and acne needle, eyebrow tweezers, ear pick, four ring spiral lug, eyebrow scissors, smaller nail clippers, diagonal nail clippers, v-shaped cuticle trimmer, single-edged double-sided push stick, cuticle knife, finger nail file, toenail file, toenail clippers, toenail nipper, meniscus pedicure knife, flat pedicure knife, diagonal pedicure knife, and pedicure knife. I haven’t used any of the knives yet. I did use the nail clippers in the picture! The other items used so far spiral ear lug, both nail files, and the toenail clippers. This kit has such a variety of beautifying tools in it, for face to feet! The clippers were easy to use and were very sharp. I like when nail clippers are sharp and actually clip the nail decent! The utensils were easy to use and clean! I was impressed and would definitely recommend this kit!! "

Asani Fabric Steamer Review

Disclosure: I received the fabric steamer for free for my unbiased review. The opinions expressed are my own.

I have a steam setting on my dryer, and I own a steam cleaner for my floors. I have never used or owned a fabric steamer before now.  I was always concerned about burning my hands or singeing my clothes from one. I was recently given the opportunity to review the Asani Portable Garment/Fabric Steamer. It is very portable, and can be used when traveling. I can definitely see myself bringing it on one of our trips this year.  What I liked about it is that it heated up quickly, in a round 2 minutes. It is recommended that you use distilled water in the steamer to prevent having mineral build-up issues.  I think that there are mineral issues in my area, so it was great to have distilled water on hand for the fabric steamer. Not a problem with filling it up, you just unscrew the nozzle head and fill it up with water to no higher than the water line, at 140 ml. Screw the nozzle head back on, and then turn the switch on the handle on! The handle area stayed comfortable while the water was heating up, and stayed cool when it started steaming. I used two of my cotton nurses' uniform tops for fabric steaming in the pictures. You will see a man's hand on the fabric steamer at some point--- it's my husband Steve's hand! I took the pictures and he steamed my tops, except at the beginning--- the first few small hands are mine!

The steaming occurred around the 2 minute mark. Per Asani's user manual, "safe for all fabric types".  My uniform tops we used in the pictures are 100% cotton, and wrinkle big-time, even with a wrinkle guard timer on the dryer.  (They also have been hanging in our closet wrinkled for awhile!)  The steamer helped a great deal on my tops, and they were cool to touch within a moment of using it! I would be wrong to say that all of the wrinkles came out, but most did! I do like the ease of filling and using the fabric steamer. I am definitely pleased with the results from using it! Besides using it on clothes, you can use the fabric steamer on furniture, curtains, and more! when you are finished with it, you can unscrew the head of the fabric steamer and allow it to cool for 10 minutes, at least. Drain the water out, and make sure that it air dries before storing.  An important thing to note is that the steamer cannot be angled more than 45 degrees, especially when the unit is on. They give you information in the user manual on how to remove mineral deposits from the device, should they occur.
