I was given the opportunity to try a bottle of the Apothecary Extracts 100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil (melaleuca alternifolia). Did you know that there are many uses for this wonderful oil? I didn't until I read the recipe guide that came with my bottle of the tea tree oil! I was used to putting a few drops in the laundry (I put it in with the detergent in the detergent part of the washer, I have a front loader.) I use it in the laundry for its disinfectant properties. That is one of the main things which I started using tea tree oil for many years ago! You can dilute a drop with a bit of water on a cotton swap and dap it on a pimple. I wanted to try it on my son's back first rather than on his face, but he hasn't let me attempt that just yet. I think that I have before, but I am going to encourage him this time that it is a natural way of treating skin.
You can mix it in with other product listed in their recipe book, and use it in hair care products, skin care, and brushing your teeth (but DO NOT SWALLOW!)! The skin care entails sunburn, bug bites, using it for antiseptic spray, and the list goes on. It's included in facial masks, those I haven't tried yet. I have painted it on my toenails for fungal prevention, with a cotton swab. I hadn't thought of using it in shampoo yet, but am planning to one of these days. You can use it in cleaning products, too, and it is another thing on my list of things to do with it. I like this product!
I 'm going to share a link to it on Amazon.com, and I am letting you know that this post contains affiliate links!
