Hormel Rev Wraps Review

Disclosure: I was given information from Hormel and coupons in order to facilitate this review. The opinions expressed are mine and my son's. And, I'm a BzzAgent.

Let me tell you about Hormel Rev Wraps! They are a new product by Hormel for the on-the-go teens!
The key point with this new product is that they are made with real products that provide at least 15 grams of protein per serving for sustaining real energy! They can be heated up or eaten cold, whatever your teen prefers! I don't recall Steven heating his up, which was surprising because he heats up just about everything else! They are ready to go when your teen is!

The ham and cheese wasn't his most favorite, but he liked it.
We had two of the flavors at the house, the #3, which was peppered turkey, and Steven really liked that one! and, it did satisfy his hunger that afternoon!!

As you can tell, he was wolfing it down! I barely got a pic of the wrap before he finished it!

The points to remember are that they are made from real meat and real cheese! Each one of the choices has at least 25 grams of protein per serving! They are available in 8 delicious flavors: pepperoni pizza (he wants to try that one!) ham & cheese, peppered turkey, meat lovers pizza, Italian style ham, hot pepper ham, Italian style, and spicy Italian style. ready to go out of the fridge or heat in the microwave for 15 seconds! They are made by Hormel Food, a name you can trust!

This was another time that because we were swamped around the house and with rummage sale going on at son's church and work was busy that I didn't get the chance to talk with our friends and neighbors about the Rev wraps. I am going to be continuing to talk with my friends about them, though!

Luster Premium White Review

Disclosure: I was given free product from Luster, in order to facilitate my review. The opinion expressed are mine own. I'm a BzzAgent.

Luster Distinctly White is a Dual Action Whitening System, that takes just minutes a day to apply, and I'm not kidding about that at all! I love to use products that are quick and easy, especially in my busy and sometimes chaotic life! I will admit that I have two dental implants, and that they (one is on each side of the top two teeth) have crowns on they that the color cannot be changed unless I had new crowns put on. My other adult teeth are permanently discolored due to taking liquid iron products as a child when I was anemic back then. The first two pictures have to do with the pre-treatment view of my teeth, and they are not my favorite pictures of me, to say the least! (If you have been reading my blog for awhile, you know how I love to be real and take pictures of everything myself, or if I can't, then Steven steps in and takes pictures for me! ) I like that the products caused zero tooth sensitivity, because I spent most of my leave time from work over the summer with cold sensitivity! It was easy to use! You rinse your teeth with the Accelerator Mouth Rinse for 10 seconds and spit it out, especially after you focused the rinse on the front teeth. Next, You shake the tube of the Super Whitener Gel, and gently squeeze the tube after removing the lid. Following that, you apply the Gel on your Smile teeth, the front six teeth on the top and the bottom of your mouth. Apply the Gel to one tooth at a time. If you need more gel on the brush, then squeeze it out. Liberally coat each tooth and try to avoid getting the gel on your gums, lips or tongue! Those were definitely my issues, and my tongue wanted to go everywhere! My lips wouldn't stay open, and I had to spit to keep from swallowing the product!  You then wait 10 minutes for the Super Whitener Gel to fight stains and whiten teeth. You are supposed to repeat the steps 1 through 3 for the total of 12 treatment. It will only whiten natural teeth, not caps, crowns, or veneers. My opinion is below, scroll down to the last picture to get my take on the Luster White Premium review.

I have included pictures of the box, front and back views, and of the products that had been in the box.

This last picture was after using the product for about a week! I know that they don't show up in this picture, and I seriously tried to get a decent one, but they were able to improve a little bit. My upper teeth around the dental implants didn't get as white as I hoped. Bummer! The Gel did get my lips feeling a bit irritated, even though I did try to keep my mouth open as it dried. Not sure if it's my honest to goodness favorite, maybe someone else will and did have better luck with it than I did. And during the past two months, I didn't get the chance to speak with my friends and co-workers about it.

Just a bit busy with work and appointments!

I'll be posting more over the next few days, I've been a busy bee between doctor appointments and physical therapy, and of course , my nursing job! Still having a great deal of back pain and having frustration over it and the fibromyalgia! With a MRI of the back in a closed MRI (I don't recommend those for the claustrophobic---take an open MRI if you can!, and getting IV contrast, I was beyond the pain two weeks ago! Plus a nerve conduction test one my lower extremities earlier this week, I've had too much fun! I do have some more reviews coming up soon!

Purex Laundry Help App (review)

Disclosure: I was given information about the Purex Laundry App from Purex in order to facilitate my review, and the download was free. The opinions expressed are my own!

I had actually downloaded this app for my iPhone awhile back, way before Purex mentioned it for this campaign! I wanted something portable that I could look up suggestions for stain removal techniques, and I had stumbled upon this app! Sometimes we get some truly unique stains on our clothes, especially with my working in the medical profession! I still have a stain on a uniform top that I've been working on for a few weeks. I did look up "Sharpie" on the app---- a very interesting story how it got on my top! I was writing on something at work, and had put the uncapped permanent marker in my right nursing uniform pocket. I don't know why I did it, I guess that Fibro Fog's my excuse! Before I used the app to see what to do about it after I got home, i used an old tried and true for ink, hairspray. It didn't work at all, needless to say, and I proceeded to get discouraged!
I wish that I had a "before" the hairspray pic but I don't. This stain occurs within a week or so of my back surgery back in May. I have been working on the stain with rubbing alcohol for about a month now, and it is slowly fading! I'm not giving up on it yet! The rubbing alcohol was what the Purex Laundry App recommended!

I also like the fabric care section of the app, and it's self-explanatory!!  The product information section of the app is very helpful, like the laundry detergent area and the Purex Crystals!!

It can be downloaded for free via the iTunes App Store and via the Google Play! ( i would enclose the links for the sites to download the apps, but my links aren't working!

Purex is giving away a chance to win an iPad mini to celebrate the new Purex Laundry Help App, and

Coffee Bean Direct (Review and Giveaway!)

Disclosure: I was given free product and information from Coffee Bean Direct in order to facilitate my review. The opinions expressed are mine and from my co-workers.

I don' know if I've mentioned it before on my blog, but I'm a coffee and tea drinker! I love to drink coffee at work with my co-workers, and we are always trying new flavors and brands of coffee. I also drink coffee at home, and I use my refillable k-cup with our Keurig. I was given the opportunity to try coffee from Coffee Bean Direct, and I chose the Vermont Maple Crunch flavor! I picked it because, even though it was summer when I chose it, it made me think of fall! It was quite tasty! I shared with with my co-workers recently, and let's just say that I did not hear any complaints about it! I will tell you that though my husband and son are coffee drinkers, they did not drink my Vermont Maple Crunch! Fortunately for me, I picked a flavor that is safe from them, and unfortunately, due to them not liking that flavor, they missed out on trying Coffee Bean Direct's coffee!

Coffee Bean Direct has a wide variety of kinds of coffee, from Africa + Arabic, Central America, South America, Indonesia + India, USA + the Islands, to flavored, decaf, half-caff, and smoked coffee.

They run monthly specials, just check out their site to find out what the current monthly special is, Monthly Specials at Coffee Bean Direct.  They carry over 100 varieties of coffee and 70 varieties of tea. They offer 4 choices of roasts: light, city, French, and Italian. Their roasted coffees come in 3 different sized bags: 1 pound, 5 pound, and 25 pound.
